LUCY
The fourteen year old LUCY is a timid girl, meek by nature, living in two “realities”. Every day she just tries to avert life’s pains as much as possible. Much of her time is spent daydreaming and enjoying the presence of her imaginary friend.
At night Lucy escapes into her world of dreams. It is her getaway where she can swim with the moon and the whales in a sea in the sky. She can catch herself in a curtain of stars among the wonders of space.
Plaguing such dreams are the nightmares conjured by an evil monster. The dark shadows of every person’s innermost fears are spreading and becoming ever more constant. In order to fend off these horrors Lucy must struggle against the villain that is... fear itself?
Little note: Under special conditions and with a special eye mask Lucy has the power of REM. With it she has the power of an Oneironaut – the power to do anything in the dream world. It requires just the right amount of concentration and willpower to make large changes. If Lucy loses control or finishes using REM she will often wake up.
